Playing Catch-Up

Okay, where to start...

Here is a BRIEF outline of the last few weeks, with more details to follow. Soon. Ish. I promise.

Finals, and an end to the semester. Four classes, two practicums and I'll be done. There IS a light to the end of the tunnel. At least for now. Goodbye Bachelors, hello Masters!  :)

Christmas, my all time favourite season ever. A collage of family and friends and lovers. Lights and baking and presents. Did I mention presents? Mhmm, I know I'm not five, but Santa still brings me kick ass stuff. This is the first year I've ever been so damn close to broke, so my presents weren't quite as stellar and themed as they usually are, but everyone seemed pretty happy. Even the Chief, who was slightly shocked at the rubbermaid tote full of goodies! Oh I love spoiling him, it's worth the blushy look on his face before he gets all stern with me!

Boxing Day shopping with K2 and driving out of town for a lingerie store that wound up being closed, followed by a night of gossipy moments with my Koala who was only home for a few days over the break.

World Juniors Hockey. I love the way hockey sounds. And I know how stupid that sounds, but I do.

A day of nothing but the Chief and Roger Moore. A James Bond day in PJ's with a feather blanket and the fire place, all curled up his arms with no one at home to bug us. PERFECT way to spend a winter day.

New Years Eve with my favourite 4AM couple and the Chief at a cabin. Snow falling. Days of watching Bones curled up on the couch, roasting marshmallows and hot dogs and drinking. Fireworks. Snowy adventures and boot-skating. Falling asleep and waking up with the Chief beside me.

New Year's resolutions, goals, and action plans.

Brief. I know. But still. It gives you an idea, right? So you'll forgive me? Great!
